A Match made in heaven: A weekend of Cooking & Yoga in the Berkshires.
What exactly is a culinary yoga retreat you ask? Well, This retreat is the first of it's kind, combining two of your favorite interests, yoga and cooking, into one unique weekend experience. For the yoga portion, we'll begin and end our days with meditation and gentle, yin, and restorative yoga with Amy. It will be the same yoga classes you love from Amy, with the added luxury of extra time and a slower pace!
For the cooking portion, you'll get the opportunity to learn and fine tune some basic and necessary cooking skills with Chef Stacey. Plus, we'll learn how best to work with whats in season to make the fullest use of farmers market produce. Stacey will guide us into putting together meals, learning about new ingredients, techniques, and having fun collaborating.
For an added bonus, we'll be doing a guided foraging walk with Tyler Akabane, a local mushroom hunter and wild food foraging expert. Tyler will teach us how to identify edible plants, where to find mushrooms, and also how to clean and prepare what we find!
